Our beginners class is for those that have always wanted to try flamenco but have never had the opportunity. No prior dance training is required. Beginner classes introduce the technique, style and basic rhythms and steps of flamenco.
If you have a least one term of flamenco dance experience our Elementary class is for you. We will build on basic techniques and introduce some more complex rhythms and steps. We will learn a dance throughout the year ready for our end of year performance in December.
This level is for those with a strong base in flamenco. The class starts with upper body, footwork and turning techniques followed by learning a dance that will be built upon and perfected each week.
Intermediate technique and choreography with castanets. The 11:15 and 11:45 classes can be taken separately but it is recommended to take them together.
